Toddy’s internship at SNASK!

Toddy, one of our animators recently returned from a three month internship with SNASK Agency in Stockholm, Sweden. We asked him about his Swedish adventure:

It’s a big wide world out there, some places can feel worlds away while others are all too familiar. The word ‘Snask’ is old fashioned Swedish slang for candy, filth and gossip and the studio definitely lived up to its name! I found myself in a space very similar to Yelldesign as their focus was on culture and creativity rather than revenue.

I spent my three months predominantly creating paper-crafted animations and mixing mediums to create identities for music festivals and chocolate bars. I’ve returned home with an overwhelming feeling of becoming a creative ‘Swiss army knife’ and gaining a greater sense of my role in the design industry.

I’m happy to be home and excited for the future but I’d have no problems doing it all again!
